Actually.. do we really need to wait for a manual update every time? Can't asdf-ruby fetch the newest ruby-build version on demand? It's a little concerning that we'd have to wait for manual intervention every time a new ruby version is released (think security updates).

I see ASDF_RUBY_BUILD_VERSION=master asdf install ruby 2.6.4 but that's a little inconvenient. I would prefer it be the default to use the latest ruby-build release.

Actually this PR is for Ruby 3.3.9. Ruby 3.4.5 is already available in asdf-ruby.

@Stratus3D @HashNuke - apologies for the ping, but any chance this could be merged to make 3.3.9 available?

It would definitely be more convenient if this PR were merged 🙏 but if you run into the same problem, you can make this change manually on your local machine by modifying the appropriate file.

one of the possible locations:

$HOME/.asdf/plugins/ruby/lib/utils.sh

@Stratus3D @HashNuke It would be very appreciated if this could be merged. Thank you!

Are there other maintainers around that are able to merge simple PRs such as this one? 🤔
